Pioneers in Human Resource Management

The HR-MBA program at Regis University is aligned with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and their Body of Applied Skills and Knowledge (BASK). The BASK model includes nine behavioral competencies grouped into three clusters: leadership, interpersonal and business. Along with these HR competencies, the MBA component of the program also provides graduates with important skills in areas such as business ethics, finance, accounting, teamwork, communication and strategy.

This blend of competencies empowers our graduates to become valuable business partners within their organizations and equips them with a competitive knowledge base that will enable them to thrive throughout their careers.

The HR-MBA is an intensive, accelerated and integrated learning experience that provides leadership and in-depth business preparation for those working on human capital development, stakeholder communication and relationship building to support organizations’ strategic directions.

Expand Your HR Network

All faculty members of the HR-MBA program possess extensive professional backgrounds in human resources and are enthusiastic about sharing their decades of knowledge and experience with their students. Additionally, our HR-MBA program is aligned with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and is a sponsor of Mile High SHRM, the local chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Students are able to join both organizations at discounted membership rates and are encouraged to participate in chapter events and webinars.

Regis is also home to monthly gatherings of the Rocky Mountain Labor and Employee Relations Association (LERA), which students may attend as part of the HR-MBA program. We are the only dedicated HR-MBA program in the Rocky Mountain area to offer a comprehensive curriculum that includes both HR and strategic business courses.
