The Center for Service Learning serves as a hub that connects students, faculty and community partners through meaningful, reflection-based service learning opportunities designed to deepen academic learning, strengthen community relationships and put Jesuit values into everyday practice.
Regis University Service Society (RUSS) programs have provided thousands of Regis students with service opportunities like street walks delivering food to the homeless, tutoring at inner-city Catholic schools, bringing donations to local charities and serving meals to people who are in need.

An alternative pathway through the First Year Experience, En/Route seeks to link the practices of eloquentia perfecta, or perfect eloquence, with the skills and virtues required by another Jesuit ideal, that of being people in service of others through a yearlong, weekly service component.

Naomi, B.S. Nursing, '25In La Ciudad de La Esperanza, I embarked on a medical service project with the indigenous people of Coban in Guatemala. I was able to care for the minds and souls of the people. We connected in Spanish and listened to their stories and struggles. We prayed and respected their different faiths, tossed a beach ball around with the kids and received lots of hugs, high fives and besitos.
In the Jesuit tradition, service is not an add-on to education; it is at the heart of it. Regis believes that the most meaningful learning happens when students move between the classroom and the community, bringing what they study to bear on real challenges and returning with deeper empathy and a clearer sense of purpose.
