Tampa Jesuit HS Lenten Appeal brings new technology to JPEN schools in UCS Jesuit Province
The Tampa Jesuit High students adopted Jesuit Prison Education Network (JPEN) for its Lenten Appeal in 2025. The proceeds were directed to four of the Jesuit colleges in the United Central and Southern Province of the Jesuits (UCS): St. Louis University; Rockhurst University; Regis University; and Loyola University New Orleans (LOYNO).
The four JPEN schools are using the funds to purchase technology to enhance their existing programs. St. Louis University used the funds to create a Workforce Reentry Lab where students preparing for release use the lab to create resumes, do job searches and form cover letters. Sean Wescott, Employment Transition Specialist for the state of Missouri, provided this photo along with his deep appreciation and commented, “These computers will be invaluable in helping our residents prepare for the workforce.”
Thank you, Tampa Jesuit Tigers!
