Regis University Launches National Search for Vice President for Mission Integration

Regis University announced the opening of a national search for the next Vice President for Mission Integration. This important leadership position ensures that the University’s Jesuit Catholic identity continues to animate all aspects of the university – their teaching and learning, service and outreach, pastoral care and a commitment to the formation of the whole person.

The Vice President for Mission Integration serves as a senior leader, providing a strong and visible presence to guide the University’s efforts to live out their Jesuit and Catholic values in ways that are authentic, inclusive, and responsive to the challenges and opportunities of our time. This role is especially vital as Regis deepens their commitment to justice, community engagement and spiritual reflection across the university – all hallmarks of a Jesuit education.

Interim President, Fr. D. Scott Hendrickson, S.J., thanked Provost Jake Bucher for agreeing to chair the search committee. Provost Bucher will be joined in this work by Kate Burns (Regis Library), Paula Colorosa (Office of the President), Dan Justin (University Mission), M.D. Kinoti (Regis College), Jonnia Torres Carolan (Teaching and Learning Excellence) and Rev. Fernando Álvarez-Lara, S.J. (Regis College and University Ministry). The search process is meant to be transparent and inclusive. Any questions, suggestions and conversations with members of the search committee are welcome.

Fr. Hendrickson wishes to express his gratitude to Rev. Kevin Burke, S.J., for his expertise and dedication in serving as the Vice President for Mission for seven years, and to Kari Kloos, who is presently serving in the role as interim Vice President of Mission. The search for this position will be posted in the coming days. The application process will continue throughout the fall semester, or until the position is filled.
