Students can spend a semester or full year studying at partner universities in more than 35 countries through a direct exchange, ISEP exchange or bilateral exchange, earning credit that counts toward their degree while immersing themselves in a new culture and academic environment.

The Service-Oriented Field Experience (SOFE) is an experiential capstone course for Master of Nonprofit Management students, placing you directly in nonprofit organizations in East Africa or the Denver community to develop a deeper understanding of social justice, poverty and community development through structured fieldwork and reflection.

Eligibility varies by program. Study abroad and Travel Learning programs are open to full-time Regis College undergraduate students, while the Service Oriented Field Experience is part of the Master of Nonprofit Management program and the Global Health Pathway is available to select Rueckert-Hartman College students. Many spring break and service-based experiences are open to the broader Regis student community.
Most global learning programs are designed to complement your progress rather than delay your graduation. Travel Learning courses are offered in the summer and can satisfy core and major requirements, while study abroad programs are structured to align with your academic goals through advising with both your academic advisor and the Study Abroad program before you apply.
Yes. Financial aid may be applied to summer courses for students enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours who have completed the FAFSA. A range of external scholarships is also available, including the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, the Fund for Education Abroad and the Foundation for Global Scholars, and Regis accepts scholarship applications alongside Travel Learning program applications.
Student safety is a priority across all Regis global programs. Travel Learning students are required to purchase an International Student Identity Card for insurance coverage, SOFE participants receive emergency insurance, and study abroad students must maintain both travel insurance and international medical coverage. All programs require pre-departure orientation meetings and health and safety documentation before travel begins.
