Accounting Department

Anderson College of Business and Computing is the home of the Accounting Department. Our department provides opportunities to learn about the business world through the various programs and disciplines within Anderson College. The programs offered by the Accounting Department build on the mission of the University and the college to enhance the business acumen of the student as well as the growth of the student in service to others.

The Accounting Department offers an undergraduate program and a graduate program that help prepare students to become Certified Public Accountants, if that is their ultimate destination, or achieve other accounting designations if that is what they desire. Through our relationships with various professional organizations and businesses, we can offer opportunities for students to interact with experts in the accounting field. The opportunities in the accounting profession are wide and varied today; accountants are not just “bean counters.” The department strives to introduce students to the multitude of opportunities available for those pursuing accounting degrees. Our dedicated instructors work diligently to bring the most up-to-date information and content to our programs. Many of our faculty currently work in their respective areas of expertise. Questions?
