Matjaž Bren

As an international business consultant, Matjaž (Maa-tya-zh) has worked with corporations, the U.S. government and non-profit organizations, and as an educator he has taught at Regis University, University of Colorado, University of Denver and Colorado School of Mines.

Matjaž grew up in former Yugoslavia, now Slovenia, has lived in Spain and Morocco and worked on projects with the US Department of State and other organizations in places like Dominican Republic, Chile and Belarus. In the private sector, he has worked on business and economic development, entrepreneurial ventures, cultural education and law enforcement training.

Learning is his passion and both of these career tracks have given him the opportunity to learn and ask “Why” questions for a living.
