Student Schedule

First Year, Residential Student Move-In and Commuter Check-In
9-11 a.m. | Clarke Hall Atrium and Assigned Dorms
Start your day by checking in, grabbing your welcome materials and getting settled. Residential students can head to their assigned dorm to move in with support from our staff and volunteers, while commuters will check in at the Clarke Hall Atrium. Expect friendly faces, plenty of help if you need it and a relaxed start to orientation as you get comfortable on campus.

University Welcome and Framing the Day
11-11:30 a.m. | Walker’s Pub, Student Center
Join us for a warm welcome from university leaders and student ambassadors as we officially kick off Spring Orientation. We’ll give you a quick overview of what to expect, highlight the experiences ahead and set the tone for a day designed to help you feel connected, supported and excited for the semester.

Campus Tours and Ice Breakers
11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. | Student Center Courtyard
Head out with our student leaders for a guided stroll through campus and a chance to get to know your new classmates. Tours are relaxed, conversational and full of insider tips. Along the way, we’ll mix in a few fun ice breakers to help you start building connections and feel at home in your new community.

Lunch
1-2 p.m. | Location TBD
Take a break, grab a meal and recharge before the afternoon sessions. This is a great time to sit with new friends, meet other incoming students and chat with student leaders who can share tips about getting started on campus. Relax, enjoy and settle in—there’s plenty more ahead!

Regis Ways
2–3:30 p.m. | Walker’s Pub, Student Center
Learn the ins and outs of life at Regis! This session will cover important topics like the Student Code of Conduct, campus safety, dating violence prevention and everyday tips for thriving as a student. Think of it as your survival guide to campus life—helpful, practical and designed to keep you safe, informed and ready to make the most of your Regis experience.

First Year Experience: World Café
3:30–5 p.m. | Walker’s Pub, Student Center
Ours is a culture of open dialogue, in which every member of the community is welcome to share their ideas and perspectives about the world. But, some conversations are harder than others, and so we all have to do purposeful work to learn how to listen actively, speak thoughtfully and communicate in a manner that is synthetic rather than confrontational. The World Café is a powerful method used to engage in conversations that matter, designed to offer an antidote to the fast-paced fragmentation and lack of connection in today’s world.

Blessing and Sending
5–5:30 p.m. | Walker’s Pub, Student Center
We’ll close the day with a special blessing and sending, celebrating the start of your journey at Regis. This is a moment to pause, reflect and feel the support of your new community as you step into the semester ahead. Leave feeling encouraged, connected and ready to embrace everything coming your way!

Dinner with New Friends and Family
5:30–7 p.m. | Location TBD
End your day by sharing a meal with fellow students, mentors and campus leaders. This is a relaxed, friendly opportunity to connect, swap stories and start building the friendships that will carry you through your time at Regis. Enjoy good food, great company and the start of your campus family!
