Get your hands dirty with the Regis M.S. Environmental Biology

Be a force of (and for) nature.

“The Earth is our environment to protect and our garden to tend to.” – Pope Francis

Are you passionate about nature and the global environment? Do you desire a deeper understanding of the biological processes going on all around us? Will you lead us into a challenging and uncertain climate future?

If the answer to the above is a resounding “yes!” then you should consider pursuing a Master of Science in Environmental Biology degree from Regis University. Inspired by the natural wonders and unique beauty in our home state of Colorado, we’re taking on the biggest environmental challenges facing our planet. We take a page from Pope Francis — our Jesuit values don’t stop at the edge of campus; they extend to our stewardship of the entire natural world around us.

Climate change is no longer a matter of if but when, and many experts say it has already arrived and is drastically impacting both populated and wild areas. This is your future; this is our future. The world needs qualified environmental scholars and leaders to guide us through what will likely be the greatest challenge in human history.

Become a force of (and for) nature with our M.S. Environmental Biology, and acquire the skills and experience needed to tend to our shared garden. The program can be completed in as little as 10 months, including a hands-on externship or research project in one of Colorado’s many diverse ecosystems.

Graduates go on to work in a variety of different capacities, including biological technicians, water quality specialists, wildlife biologists, and urban and regional planners. We’ve had recent graduates find fulfilling work in the Bureau of Land Management, Colorado Department of Transportation, Denver Zoo and more!

So, what do you say? Are you ready to take a walk on the wild side and help save the planet and its countless plant and animal species?

The time is now. Are you ready to answer the call of the wild?
