Regis welcomes new food vendor, Harvest Table, to campus

Regis is welcoming a new food vendor to campus starting this summer, offering an all-you-care-to-eat menu option, discounted faculty and staff meal plans and an upgraded menu.

Harvest Table, a Pennsylvania-based company, will take over as the University’s food provider June 1. Josef Rill, the associate vice president of business and auxiliary services, said the company has begun working in the Denver area, making partnerships to source food from local companies.

The University plans to share more details about the new service with students, faculty and staff this summer.

“We are really looking forward to the partnership,” Rill said. “They have hit the ground running, making key partnerships with local growers, BIPOC-owned (Black, Indigenous, people of color) companies. They're trying to work with everybody within the Denver area.”

This summer, Claver Grill in St. Peter Claver, S.J., Hall, and Regi’s Roast and Walker’s Pub in the Student Center, will receive cosmetic changes and new digital screens.

“It will look very similar to what it did this year, just with better offerings and a more user-friendly experience,” he said.

The Student Center Café will undergo more significant changes to make way for the all-you-care-to-eat menu option. In addition to the all-you-care-to-eat option, the University will continue to offer a la carte menu options at the University’s other dining locations, including Claver Grill and Walker’s Pub. Meal pricing options are pending.

The Ranger Station FanZone, which serves Starbucks coffee and grab-and-go menu options in its location on the first floor of David Clarke Hall, is managed by Follett, the company that manages the bookstore. The menu will not be affected by this change.

As with the University’s previous food contract, there will be spaces on campus catered exclusively by Harvest Table. The full list is yet to be determined.

Through May 24, Walker’s Pub will be open 4-7 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The last day to submit a catering order through Bon Appetit is May 13. All other campus food services, with the exception of the Ranger FanZone, will remain closed as the University and Harvest Table begin the transition. The Ranger FanZone is open 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday-Friday during the summer. Rill anticipates a summer food option will be available by early June.

Rill said he looks forward to welcoming Harvest Table to campus.

“We’ve been blown away by what Harvest Table has shown us,” he said.
