Generations of Regis students connect during Anderson Alumni Week

From March 16-20, 2026, alumni of Regis University’s Anderson College of Business and Computing gathered virtually and on campus to share and celebrate their work with current Anderson students during Anderson Alumni Week. With 98 sessions of student-to-alumni communication, Anderson Alumni Week crafted new connections between the Anderson students of both the past and present.

From accounting and marketing to cybersecurity and AI, the students, faculty and alumni of Anderson College have a wealth of experience to share from the inside of the industry and academic fields.

Madhu Rao, Ph.D., academic dean of Anderson College, spoke on the value of the week’s events for their current students.

“There is something special about coming home. Over 85 alumni, ranging from those who graduated 30 years ago to those who are only a year out of college, gave back by returning to the classroom to share their experiences with our current students,” said Rao. “There is no better indicator of great leadership than mentoring the next generation of business and computing leaders. Students loved it, as did our alumni. They will always be part of the Anderson family.”

In its inaugural year, the week’s events invited over 75 speakers into 90 current classes, but Rao relayed how this year, there were nearly 90 alumni speakers through 108 classes; nearly 85% of Anderson courses had an alumnus share their story.

For the alumni speakers, engaging with each class was just as educational an experience for them as it was for students. Cassandra Grady, M.S., Assistant Vice President of University Marketing at Regis – and Anderson alumna – shared her experience working one-on-one with a classroom of Anderson students.

“It was a really meaningful experience to spend time with students in a more conversational setting. Being able to connect what they’re learning to real-world challenges, like navigating change, working across teams and making thoughtful decisions, adds a different level of understanding.” Grady continued, “I also really value hearing their questions and perspectives. It’s a great reminder of how impactful this stage of learning is.”

Alongside connecting with current students throughout the week, Anderson alumni had the opportunity to mingle with each other during an Anderson Alumni Happy Hour on campus in Regis’ own Walker’s Pub.
