About Regis College

Regis College provides values-centered education to approximately 1,900 students annually and encourages its students to make a positive impact in a changing society. Regis College's liberal arts education provides the opportunity for students to explore the question "How ought we to live?" while cultivating an excellent academic education. Abundant opportunities for service learning, academic internships and cross-cultural study abroad experiences motivate students to take their education beyond the classroom. The School for Professional Advancement within Regis College provides these same opportunities to adult learners looking to further their education and career through online or evening classes.

Dean's Welcome

Welcome to Regis College! As a Jesuit institution, Regis University aims to educate the whole person. We offer an educational experience that has intrinsic value, is personally enriching and encourages you to improve your community. But we also ensure that each of our programs has instrumental value in helping you advance your career goals. Recognizing the demands that the world places on our students is what makes the College unique.

We want you to pursue liberal studies whatever your personal circumstances. We offer degree programs on-campus in a traditional semester format, and our School for Professional Advancement also hosts programs offered online, in the evening, on weekends providing access that lowers the barriers that people might otherwise face in pursuing liberal studies.

Our main goal is to bridge the gap between theory and practice. You’ll learn theory, but you’ll also learn by doing. This can be an academic service learning project, an internship, or a reflective project applying the University’s mission to your major. This helps to ensure that you reap all the benefits of a liberal studies education.

On behalf of our faculty, staff and students, again, welcome to Regis College. If you have not yet applied, we hope that you will. We all look forward to helping you to achieve the goals – both personal and professional – that you have set for yourself.

Sincerely,
Tom Bowie
