Core and Foundational Studies

Core and foundational courses study subjects such as oral and written communication, english composition, humanities, and social and natural sciences. Credits earned as part of an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in an approved area of study may be counted toward the Regis foundational course requirement.

Upper Division Requirements

Students complete 12 credit hours of upper division requirements in areas of leadership skills, ethics and cultural awareness, emotional intelligence and decision making.

Students choose one area of specialization in which to focus their studies. Regis offers specializations in Interdisciplinary Studies, Homeland Security and Management.

Areas of Specialization

Interdisciplinary Studies

21 credit hours of courses from a variety of disciplines and subject areas, selected in consultation with your academic success coach.

Homeland Security

15 credit hours of courses such as Perspectives on Terrorism and Computer Forensics and Cybercrime, with an additional six credit hours from other disciplines.


15 credit hours of Business Administration courses, with an additional six credit hours from other disciplines selected in consultation with your academic success coach.

  • Completed online application
  • Official transcript from prior college(s)
  • Resume

The first step in the application process is to contact an admissions counselor, who can evaluate your prior learning credit, provide information regarding financial aid and tuition assistance and help you through the entire application process. 

Tuition and Fees

Program tuition: $475 per credit hour
Total program credits: 120

Total program credits are the number of credit hours required for graduation. Students transferring credit may be required to complete a smaller number of credits at Regis. View the Transfer Guide for a complete list of transfer credit equivalents.

Rolling Admissions

Applications are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis. It is recommended you apply to this program at least 4 weeks prior to your desired start date.
