Regis College Summer Session offers a reduced tuition rate. Tuition for Summer Session 2020 is $490 per credit hour. Alumni may audit a course for a discounted rate of $150 per course. All students across the university are eligible to take Summer Session courses. Students not currently enrolled in Regis College will need to submit a summer session application prior to registering for classes.

Students register for Summer Session courses through WebAdvisor, following the same process as registering for fall or spring classes. Online registration through WebAdvisor for current Regis College students will begin February 17, 2020. Directions for how to complete the online registration process may be found here. Students are advised to register as early as possible in order to avoid enrollment caps on class sizes or cancellation due to low enrollment.

Summer Course Schedule

Summer courses are taught on campus in 3-week or 6-week blocks, with 8-week online courses also available. Courses are not held on Memorial Day or Independence Day. Please note Regis University reserves the right to cancel any course that does not draw adequate registration and to set maximum limits for enrollment in certain classes. Two weeks before the start of each summer term, classes that have not met their enrollment requirements will be evaluated for cancellation.

 

To be eligible to receive financial aid for a summer semester, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours during the summer session. For more information on the FAFSA process, visit Applying for Aid.

Regis offers two types of scholarships for students taking classes during the Summer Session. Students seeking scholarships will need to download and submit the Summer Session Scholarship Application in person to Loyola 21B or 21D. The 2020 deadline for Summer Session scholarship applications is April 3. 

High Financial Need: A number of 3-credit-hour scholarships will be available to students enrolled in Summer Session with high financial need whose tuition cannot be covered by their current financial aid package.

Merit Scholarships: A number of 2-credit-hour scholarships will be available to students enrolled in Summer Session who have a 3.2 cumulative GPA or higher and who actively embrace the Jesuit commitment to the question, "How ought we to live?" through service and/or leadership to the Regis University community and surrounding areas.

Click "Search by Program and Course Materials," select "Regis College Undergraduate" and choose the summer term. You will be able to see a comprehensive listing of classes available during the summer session. Please note Regis University reserves the right to cancel any course that does not draw adequate registration and to set maximum limits for enrollment in certain classes. Students may not register for more than a total of 12 credit hours within a particular year’s Summer Session without the approval of the Regis College Associate Dean.

The Learning Commons, Dayton Memorial Library, Student Disability Services and the bookstore are all open for students during the summer.Additionally, dining services, the fitness center, health services and the office of Counseling and Personal Development are available for students to take advantage of. Some services and departments may operate during limited hours. 

 

Yes! On-campus housing is available to undergraduate students enrolled in Summer Session. Availability is limited. More information can be found here, and students with additional questions should contact the Office of Student Housing and Residential Engagement
